loving being able to read about obama's choices and thoughts on the LJ feed for change.gov i guess things can always be MORE transparent, so i'm interested in smart guy lessig's idea of open government. seems like government is far less abstract now, and for the first time in a long time, feels connected to me. like it's an actual part of everyday life and not some distant entity that i hate.
attended a transition training a couple of weekends ago. i didn't know much about the specifics, but it jived with my interests in permaculture etc. i liked their question: How might our response to peak oil and climate change look more like a party than a protest march? still processing my response to all that i experienced there...
finally saw "the fall". loved those images + costumes!!!!

I have so many pictures to sort out and post... life has been full of knitting, cleaning, and the start of holiday baking. Did the pudding yesterday -have to keep the British husband happy! I haven't been posting as much as I should, bit of depression - I'll snap out of it in a bit, it's happening, just takes focus and lots of beautiful cooking smells ;) And for ONCE I'll have all my gifts that need sent over-seas DONE in time!! I shall do the happy Snoopy dance at the PO tomorrow! Heck, I've been way more active on Rav than here of late... it's saved my sanity more than once.
